CAPSTONE PROJECT
CAPSTONE PROJECT
This capstone project is a tarot deck that is meant for teens/college students who are looking to get into tarot or are frustrated with the typical studying route that is mostly used when starting tarot. Trying to start tarot with little to no prior knowledge of tarot can lead most to get frustrated because of the overwhelming amount of understanding that is needed to do a tarot reading. This deck uses images to convey meaning, just like regular tarot, but this deck has additional information on the cards themselves, so you learn while doing readings instead of having to study. The additional information on the cards covers keywords for the negative and positive meanings of the cards, common deities from multiple religions associated with the card, whether the card means yes or no, numbers associated with the card, any animal associated with the card, and what zodiac sign is related to the card. There are 72 cards in a tarot deck. The first 22 cards in the deck are called the major arcana; they each have in-depth meanings and tell their own story. The other cards fall into four sections: the wands, the cups, the swords, and the pentacles. This deck also comes with four extra cards that go into a more in depth explination on the sections in case the person needs help understanding how these sections tie into their reading to give them a more accurate explanation.
