This album cover was designed for Melanie Martinez’s PORTALS album. This album is a pop/rock album with a fantasy-like feeling that follows the story of her character through their journey of reincarnation. The composition consists of several dark green circles with the title and musician repeated and the circles slowly get smaller until they meet in the middle. The dark green and light pink colors are used to contrast each other and incorporate this fantasy-like energy into the composition. The back cover consists of pink circular lines that have the song names wrapped around them with the musician’s name in the middle. The back cover also has one line of spikes running through it to show the energy of the music. The label covers on the vinyl also have these circle elements with small spikes around the edge of the labels. All the pieces in the composition have the same color scheme and spikes in them to tie them together.
